Mobility = State of Readiness

Again, it is a day dedicated to rehabilitation, rest and recovery as the trip to Wilson’s Prom draws nearer…a big trail run awaits.  We’re already getting stuff organised at home with seats taken out of the 4WD van, mattresses tied down, iPad 3G recharged so we can stream the AFL Grand Final (yeah…roughing it) and miscellaneous kit organised.  We’ll probably cop a few passing showers down there but it really is “God’s Country” so the escape will still be good for the soul.  There are plenty of photos from our last trip down there in the GALLERY if you feel like a look.

There are some more developments on the ‘Public Relations’ side of the project but these are still very tentative, so I’ll keep those handy for when pieces start falling into place.

Some other good news is that my beloved bike has finally been returned to it’s rightful home.  It was a bit hard to give it a proper inspection as it wasn’t dropped off until 8pm tonight, but on the surface it looks pretty bloody good…will need a good clean though as it was still carrying a bit of dust from the workshop.  The MTB will be staying home tomorrow…I’ve missed riding my faithful steed so we’ll be off into the dawn light tomorrow morning. Happy days.

Osteopathy appointment with Locky for all the adjustment and manipulation an ageing body needs to survive.  I’ve said it before, but here I go again…if you have any skeletal or soft tissue problems I urge you to do yourself a favour and get some time with this guy.

I’m proud to be pushing my physical limits for a good cause.  You can be proud too, by making a tax deductible donation to ME/CFS Australia.
